I own a 2 family duplex. There is cinderblock separating the 2 sides from the basement to the attic. I can not hear noises like voices or radio but I can hear them close doors and walk on the floor. Can someone tell me why this sound travels and what can I do to minimize it? When they walk up their basement stairs it sounds like it is my unit.
