What will I need besides the new dishwasher and what's included in an installation kit?
I know I'll need at least a 34" drain hose from reading this web page. Fourteen inches of reach and a 20" loop. I know how to cut the water pipes and reseam them. My problem is going to be tapping into the sewage drain pipe.
How do I cut and reseal it properly? Will I need some special glue or sealant?
I already have a double sink and pipes to it. The house is a 1977 Rambler and I can get to the pipes from the basement. Should I cut the pipes under the sink or in the basement?
