attic insullation (blown)

I,m planning on adding blown insulation to my attic, improving it to r60. My house is of cottage roof style, and I,m wondering whether the attic should be vented to the sofits. Sometime ago blown insulation was added,. but no veniting was done. Also if venting is recomended,should all the rafter openings be used, or are say 3 on each wall ok? Was this post helpful?
