We have solid granite entranceways for two of our buildings. The problem is when it rains the granite gets wet and doesn't prevent the water from coming into the hallway. The buildings are almost 200 years old and were transformed into condo units about 15 years ago. The two entrance ways are made completely out of granite. The floors get soaked with water in bad weather. I am trying to find possible solutions to this problem on the internet which is how I found this email address. We have been told by the building manager that there is not much that can be done about the granite, that there is no way to seal it. I am just trying to find out different options that can be done to try to help maintain the situation, if any.
