We have a 30 year old house that the 2nd floor bathroom was neglected til we purchased it three years ago. The walls and floor are water logged and crumbling. Our problem is the water is city high in calcium & magnesium we can not remove the tub facets to put up the new wall. Short of cutting off the handles and putting on new ones is there any solution to help remove the existing handles. I am trying bathroom cleaner that advertises removes chemical build up. Any other suggestions.
