you may have to get the table refinished? you could try placing a paper towel on top of the wax and ironing (on low) over top of the paper towel. i've done this on carpeting, the iron melts the wax which is then absorbed by the paper towel. you may still have a mark from the wax? let me know what you try and if it works? good luck....
