Hi. Try jumping to simulate a thermostat connection at the gas valve. This will check to see if the problem is the thermostat or its wiring as a cause. If it still won't come on, I would think the gas valve is malfunctioning. Lightly tap on the gas valve with a wrench. If it goes on then, replace the gas valve (or even if it doesn't go on replace it).
