We have a steam radiator in the bedroom that is making a hisssssTICK sound at 1 minute intervals (or so) for about 30-35 minutes as the system gets going at 5am.
My building managment has changed both the open/close valve and the silver steam regualtor valve. The sounds has not stopped and they are stumped - reccommending that I keep the heater off ALL WINTER.
Do you have any suggestions as to what else they can do to remedy the situation and give me back my sanity?
