I saw your post before anyone else posted to it and frankly had hoped noone would post because changing a thermocouple/flame sensor is outside the scope of capabilities for most DIYers. If you live in the Bush in Ontario, go with Give's plan.
Thermocouple is probably a $100 service call non-emergency in most places. The best part about calling a pro is you might find out some important things about your furnace. Would you really know if there was anything wrong with the heat exchanger or the burners just by looking?
