the problem is that there are quite a few colorant systems in use in the paint industry. Some are shared by several manufacturers, some are unique to a single brand. they may have some pigments in common, and others that are completely different. added to that, two companys using the same colorants may have different designations for them. There just isn't any standard. also, the tint bases from different companys will be affected differently by the same colorants, as will different products within the same brand. an ounce of raw umber may be designated Rum48 or Ly (y often means ounce)or some other abbreviation, and will produce a different color when mixed with a Sherwin Williams interior flat base, or a SW oil base, or a Behr interior flat base, etc.
you can select a single colorant system and learn it fairly easily,any paint store will tell you their code system, and work within that one system.just keep in mind that it may not translate directly to another.
