wood flooring

Posted by Steve Williams on November 9th, 2003 08:48 AM

Good morning,I have had some maple wood flooring in my garage for a month now and the temperature got cold and it froze.(0 farenheight)(for 3 days) The product was wrapped in plastic but when i open the boxes after bringing them in the warm house, there was a slight condensation on the wood from being cold to warm. Is the product damaged? If I let it sit at room temperature for a week will the wood be good? A week has gone bye and it looks good but some people say it is scrap.I payed $21000.00 for it and someone offered me $5500.00 for it because they consider it second grade. They never told me it had to stay warm if that is really the case.Am I being scammed? Should I take a chance and put it down or is there really nothing wrong with the product?I dont know and to loose $15000.00 would be a real heart loss right now for me.I wouldnt have bothered you, but I cant find out anything on the net.Your advice would be greatly appreciated.tks a bunch...Steve
