I would like to install wood laminate flooring in our basement family room. The underlay of the exsisting carpet has been glued to a finished concrete floor - everywhere! It leaves small to large glued chunks of underlay attached to the somewhat rough cement floor. How do I get them off? and Do I need to if I am installing a "floating floor"? What about ceramic tile - would that be an easier installation?
