I presume you are talking about ceramic tile, and they must be set in mortar of some kind. Most likely thinset mortar.
I would use an 8" razor floor scraper, the heavy kind with a single blade. The weight will work in your favor. It will not be easy, but will probably go pretty fast and should leave a clean slab.
