radiators not heating up

We removed the air out of 2 radiators. One became hot the other is still cold. In the basement one pipe leading to the radiator is cold, the other hot. Do we need to do anything to the water tank above the broiler? We also have one other that is cold. All 3 of the one's that had problems are on the same side of the house. Thanks for your help.
