We have an not so old wood stove that, due to renovations for the past 2 years, has been covered, but outside in rain, snow and sleet. It is slightly corrosed and rusty. What is the proper way to make it look like new? Sanding? Oiling? Using wood stove polish first or last?
Is it really brass at the trim? Just coloured metal I think. Any ideas? Would love to hear them.
