Dennis It CAN'T fill up in one week... They are always full (water). Most are 1000 gallon tanks. It could take a week to fill the tank with water but it would take a very large family to fill it with solids in one year but never in a week!!
The water constantly runs into the leach field once the tank is full but the solids settle to the bottom. It is the solids (sludge) that are pumped out when it is cleaned.... so flush away!
