We have a set of General Electric kitchen cabinets and drawers (base and wall units). They are in fairly good physical condition (some rust on the under-sink cabinet, but doors and drawers open & close nicely), but have been painted in a mustard-brown (very unattractive). The original color may have been lemon yellow. We think they date from 1950.
