My house is approximately 50 years old with stucco on it. The stucco has been painted with a latex (non-oil base) paint. I would like to restucco the house, however, I do not know the advantage of having the house sand blasted or paint the adhesive on the house before applying new stucco. Also, which is a better product to use the cement stucco or the acrylic stucco? I will have a contractor do the work for me. Thank you.
