Mike, lumber that is usable and rare has value. How many 1950's ranches were built? Your roof probably has grade 2 pine boards, complete with a LOT of knots, or plywood. Wide, knotfree boards of a species more uncommon than pine have worth. Sorry, but you will have to pay to have yours hauled away.
