I have a brand new house of 8 months. I was smelling this awful smell only to discover that there was a small leak in the main water shut off area. This created a lot of moisture and after a period of time it has created a mildew problem over the whole basement. I washed everything in the finished basement with javex and water, and have installed a dehumidifier. The odor still remains and I don't know how to get rid of this. It makes me sick. This is a brand new home and it smells like it is 50 years old. PLEASE HELP.....
