Yes, our Lopi pellet stove has never worked correctly. It also overfills the box and will even cut itself off, even when there has not been a power outage. We are totally dissatisfied with the stove and are trying to find a dealer so we can get it fixed. We bought our home in April of last year and the pellet stove has never worked right. We are not using ours either because we are afraid of the thing burning down the house. We used to own a Whitfield when we lived in North Idaho and we were very satisfied with it.
