Ilive in Hawaii and just bought a window air conditioner a few months ago. It's in our spare room so we rarely used it. Anyway, it isn't cooling. It turns on and everything seems to be working but only warm air comes out. I took off the front cover and filter and noticed that the copper evaporator coils leading to the back were iced up. After defrosting the ice, I turned it back on and could see the frost building up around only the two copper coils leading to the back. What is causing this? Can I fix it myself?
