#422707 is the B&S engine model #. The date code appears to say that the engine is 1982 November 09 assembly line/plant 12. The engine 422707 is a sleeve bore model 42=42 cu in, 2=basic design, 7=vert crank & flojet carb, 0= plain bearings, 7=12v gear drive electric starter w/alternator. "Briggs & Stratton" has a good web site with engine parts lists & operating instruction booklets for downloading
