I live in SF with two incredibly load banging radiators. The building has steam heat and is on a timer. When the water is sent up in the morning, both radiators bang and pop to wake the dead. The radiators also bang and pop when the system is being turned off.
The knobs are only open a small amount otherwise the the apartment is too hot. The landlord has replaced the release/drain valves in both radiators and have bled the radiators in my apartment. What can stop the banging. I can't take it anymore.
