I'd like to use the well in my basement as a source for lawn water. It appears an 8" wide tunel was dug and then a 2" steel pipe was cemented in. The water level is about 14" below the surface of my foundation floor, and the water appears to be at least 10' deep. The steel pipe extends a few inches above the floor, I would think there's room to lengthen enough to receive a pump. My floor is poured and my walls are brick. The house is 50 years old, and about 800 square feet. Any knowledge or concerns that could be passed along would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bundle. -James(in MI)
