I think I've just had the same problem, erratic water temperature, never getting hot enough to be of any use, but CH OK?
British Gas fixed it under contract, would have cost almost £ 300.00, the chap mentioned a diaphram? The report states 'Vlave 3 way Special'
I don't know what that means, I hope it helps.
Only problem now is that the CH appears to be loosing pressure, as if there was a leak, however despite checking all the rad valves etc, I cannot find a leak. I'd appreciate any comments
