there is a condensate hose that runs from top down to the drain pan under the fridge. its to drain water from automatic defrost feature

i bet its clogged with algee, a common maintanance issue with self defrosting freezers/refidgeratos

when mine clogs i locate it, its in the back wall from inside refrigator. has a plastic cover over it along back wall, in the center, long skinny cover running from top to bottom and on the inside of box, can see it opening door and looking to the back, behind the milk, trace it to top find the strarting point. disconnectyand unclog it.

my old ge it was inside the box, i just looked at my new ge(2 years old) and its on the back so i would have to roll the fridge out of its nook to see it but looking inside the freezer the top of the tube is visable under its cover

i use bleach and water in a strong spraywer bottle. i use my pump up gargen sprayer but you could probally get away with a plant mister, just pump like crazy, you could also blow it out with a homemade extension and your lungs so a computer compressed air duster or what ever you can makedue with, dont need alot of force cause its just clogged with a little lump of algee.....just make sure you blow, not suck!

after cleaniong helps to rinse with bleach and water to kill the mold

then pull the pan from bottom(remove the kick cover from bottom front) empty pan and reinstall

i have to do it every 5 years or so

you could always call the repair man and pay him 75 bucks to do the job
