have a less than year old granite countertop that has incurred a scrape/scratch about 14 inches long and 3/4" wide. (it looks as though it was caused by someone wiping the countertop with a cloth with an abrasive spot on it. have dried stone polish which did nothing to cover mark. is there anything else to try short of having expert come in and do the repair?
