Absolutely, I have a slimline dishwasher in a forclosure and I found out how expensive those things are so I rebuilt it. You are also lucky that it is a sears, go to their website with your model number and you can get just about anything for your dishwasher. Leaks can occur at the motor seal, impeller seals, element and water level sensors, and door seals etc. I also know of 1 other unusual leak - I just ordered a new water valve for mine since it's leaking and it slowly fills up the tub which then eventually leaks on the floor.
