I agree with Thiggy however I would be certain to drill holes through new sleepers and put in vents so the temperature does not increase under roofing material and reduce it's life expectancy and effectiveness.You might consider installing mini vents on the exterior. They are round with louvered faces and press into predrilled holes of various sizes. This will allow ventilation without access for hornets,wasps or other unwanted guests.
