I want to know about adding a room to the exterior of a house with asbastos siding. Some of the siding will have to be removed to accomplish this task. Can I do this myself safely.
What we want to do is remove a window and make the opening taller for a doorway to a closet, which we intend to add on the house. Also we want to relocate the window to another exterior wall which will also involve removing the asbastos siding in that area as well. Aproximatly 20 square feet of material will have to be removed.
If this is something we can do what is the proper way to dispose of the material once it is removed.
