I purchased a repair kit for this and the directions said that there should be a pin sticking out of the body into the ball. The pin is flush with the inside and the outside. I assume this is why the handle can move in any direction- sometimes you have to twist it sideways to stop water flow!
Can this be fixed? I tried using a punch and hammer to drive the pin in further, but it won't move.
