Help! I live in a very old apartment building and have a landlord that could care less about repairs. One of my electric baseboard heaters has stopped working. I have no idea why - my first guess is age. I'm wondering how difficult it would be for me to replace the electric baseboard heater on my own versus waiting several weeks for my landlord to replace it. Please help or offer suggestions on how to check to see the exact reason why the heater stopped working. It is still plugged in, the fuse is okay and the outlet is not the cause since I have a lamp plugged in the same outlet without problems. Thank you so much!
