hi, wondering if anyone can help... i am tryin to replace a ceiling fan wit ha light fixture. when i attach the wires and throw the breaker the light comes on but wont go on or off wit hthe light switch.
coming from the cieling there are four wires- a cluster of white, a cluster of black a single red and a single plain aluminum looking wire.
can anyone tell me what the problem is and how i can fix it. thanks a lot...
