Bathroom Remodel Estimate Posted by Laurel on November 24th, 2003 07:36 PM In reply to Costs by Peeter on March 24th, 1998 01:30 PM [Go to top of thread]
I'm moving to my house soon in Upstate New York. I'd like to remodel my bathroom, but for budgeting purposes, since the sellers are still living in my home, I'd like to get an idea of how much it would cost to do minor remodeling in my bathroom. I just need a labor estimate.
1. Remove carpet from the floor (yes, they carpeted the bathroom floor, I hate it) and lay tiles. I'd say around 36 12 x 12 ceramic tiles.
2. I'd also like to replace the vanity, sink and faucets.
3. Replace all tiles and soap holder around tub area. Current tiles seem like 4 x 4 (approx. 200). I'd like to replace with bigger tiles, approximately 100 (8 x 8)
4. Remove shower doors.
5. Reglaze tub
6. I'd say the entire bathroom floor, including where the tub covers is approximately 50 sq. ft.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
