I live in a loft apartment in an old converted warehouse. The problem I am having is I can smell cooking odors and cigarette smoke from my next door neighbors coming through my air and heat vents. The odors are so strong that it would appear that I am cooking and smoking, which I do neither. Is there a way to fix this problem-it is like we are sharing the same vents. The air and heating units were installed new 6 years ago when the building was converted.
