Floor sag

There are two adjacent rooms on the second floor of our 150 yr old farm house. they are of equal size and the floors both sag to the center wall (the wall separating the 2 rooms). Underneath is one large room (kitchen),
Is there anyway we can jack up the center and maintain its original, level state, without putting a big post in the middle of the kitchen??
(The kitchen room is pretty much 15x15, and 2 rooms above are appx 15 x 7.5)
also there is a basement under the kitchen, How can you jack up a 2nd floor from 1st floor w/basement under neath?? wouldn't that put unreasonable stress on the basement floor joists. Please advise, any info is appreciated. Thank you.
