Garage door springs should only be adjusted by exp.door mech. Dont try to do it yourself.They are very dangerous if handled improperly. I know because I have been doing installations for 30 years. Call a local door co. It would only cost a service call or labor price between 30-40 dollars. A trip to the hospital would be quite a bit more.
