Acrylic shower repair

We just had an acrylic shower/tub installed which also required installation of an "L" shower curtain rod. This rod was not installed at the correct heighth and needs to be relocated. Should I be concerned about seeing the old bracket holes and longevity of the repairs? The company from which we purchased the unit is arranging the repairs. Other than the concerns I've expressed here and asking for and checking references, are there any other concerns I need to have addressed?
