Gas furnace?Outside of the heat exhanger expanding{metal stressing},you probably have delayed ignition.This is a lapse in the time the burners ignite.A good cleaning of the heat exchanger, and related components,is probably all that is needed.However,safety first!If you are not familiar with what to do,hire a professional.
