Removing Glue from Materials

I found that If you get super glue on something black (I got it on the tolex on my organ) after some scrubbin or scraping and the majority is gone, the white residue is left. Your best bet is to simply cover it in shoe polish, works pretty well, but you got to lay it on thick and let it dry. For Skin, Rubbing alcohol worked pretty well, but so did a brillo, soap and water.
