Dryer Vent Duct

I bought a townhouse and the dryer is on the third floor. The vent runs approximately 45-50 feet and has 6 90 degree elbows. I have researched and have seen an "Indoor vent kit". Does this work and is it recommended in lieu of a booster fan?
