The cause of blue/green stains are caused by: toilet bowl cleaners with bluing in their composition, comet, or some other cleanser.

Because toilets are NOT porcelain, but rather vitreous china, they are porous and will 'capture' anything that is a dye. Hence the coloring of your toilets.

Using POLLY I, simply spray cleaner on, wait approximately 5 minutes, and rinse, or you can use a mild abrasive to help it along, as the cleaner will make the stain 'soft', so POLLY'S will work.
