Grey polybutyl pipe

I am considering buying a home that has grey poly buty plumbing. The house was built in late 1995 or early 1996. A local building inspector said there is no problems with poly butyl pipe installed in the 1990s. He said this pipe is as good as cooper. He said the problems are with the pipe that was installed in the 1980s. Is that correct? Was this post helpful? Yes: or No:
