Linda, it would be helpful for others to have a plan of your existing and a visual idea of your desires. All follow-ups have good points, another consideration is local codes. Some jurisdictions would require a tub in one bath. Then again if you were selling and a young couple needed a bath tub for their little one they may pass on your house. Check codes and permits
