Bigger Problems, Maybe ??? Posted by Jay J -Moderator on December 5th, 2003 03:38 PM In reply to slugs by LidoLady on December 5th, 2003 02:30 PM [Go to top of thread]
Hi LidoLady,
Since the unit is CLOSED during the washing/drying cycles, I don't know how they'd be getting in there unless the 'screen' on the water line is missing. Some water lines have a screen on them, right where they connect to the DW, to prevent solids from entering into the DW. Small Snail Shells are commonly found at the screen. Check the User Manual for such info or contact the Mfgr or your Distributor for guidance.
Just as an aside, Slugs don't have shells. Snails have shells. I hope you're talking about Snails because, if Slugs are getting into your DW, you have BIGGER problems! My best to ya and hope this helps.
