There are several things that could be the problem with this unit. I would suggest you check the key in shaft/pump connect first. if this is not problem,most likely pump shot. If this is an inexpensive unit,with an alum pump or pot metal type metals, the cheapest route is to change complete pump. look at my website www.toolcentral.com click on tool doctor for further info. if you will send me the model and type of unit, I can help you further.
