My Craftsman garage door only works intermittently - whether activated from the wall switch, programmed car, or Craftsman remote. I found that I could unplug the opener from the AC outlet and re-plug - I would hear a sound like a relay clicking. Then the opener would work for some indeterminate time before it again stopped responding. I noted that my other opener (somewhat older but also Craftsman) makes a similiar clicking sound if I unplug and re-plug it. When this all began I replaced the wall switch (Craftwman multi-button) with a generic Genie (looks like a doorbell button) and it seemed to clear up for a while - but now is back to its old intermittent tricks. Does any kind soul have any suggestions or thoughts?
