What precautions can I take when handling old thermopane windows? I have four fixed-sash thermopanes,36x55 1/2" in our picture window. The sill and subsills had rotted out from under them and I will have to remove the glass to repair the framing. About how much can I expect these to weigh and how do I handle them safely?
