Ceiling Tile

There is an elderly lady who has 2x4 ceiling tile, tongue and groove, that is saging. The panels are firm around the perimeter of the room, but the center has dropped app. 3 to 4 inches. My plan is to use an electric staple gun, 9/16'' staples in the grooves. Is there a better method to make this repair that look beeter and be more supportive? Thanks in advance for your help!
